Life has been a little hectic lately. Between moving and starting a new job (while also keeping up with The Nomis Niche and my social media management gigs), it’s been tough. I’ll admit, there were times when I felt like I was losing my mind. But, instead of pulling my hair out, I decided to hunker down and re-organize my schedule. Today I’m sharing some sanity-saving organization tips that will make your life a whole lot easier…

March is here (woohoo!) and that means I can unapologetically start dressing for spring (even when the weather doesn’t cooperate). I love embroidered EVERYTHANG at the moment, and I couldn’t wait to finally break out this dress, which has been eye-balling me from my closet ever since I got it. Good news is it has long sleeves and a midi-length cut, so even when the temps dip at night here in Vegas it’s still warm enough. Looking like a freezing fool is never cute 😉

I’m going to start this post with a very “uh.. duh!” statement. I love to shop. Trying out new trends is exciting and as a fashion blogger, I definitely like to wear what’s new for the season. But you can’t just fill your closet with trendy pieces. You really need those basics that you can wear again and again as the years go on. So, today I want to talk about the winter basics that you should have in your closet.
Happy 2017 everyone! I hope you had a great New Year’s Eve. We spent it with friends and had a blast! One thing I’d like to do in the new year is to up my accessory game, and I’m starting with this faux fur clutch.
In my last post I talked about how to upgrade your winter wardrobe. Embracing ruffled sleeves was one of my main tips. Cascading ruffles adds a little intrigue to your outfit – and you can basically style it like any other shirt or sweater!

Hello friends! I wanted to try something different today. Since leaving my office job to work from home, my style is SO much more casual. But I haven’t forgotten what it was like trying to create work-appropriate outfits that weren’t boring. So for this post… I want to give some tips to all my hard working ladies out there!

Here’s a fun fact, I’m 5’7” – but I have to buy petite pants and jeans. I have an incredibly long torso, and my legs are basically the same as a woman who clocks in at 5’3”. So when the kick flare trend started to pick up speed I was hesitant. I was afraid they would make my legs looks shorter than they already are. Well friends… I’ve found a few tricks to make it work!

If a suede mini skirt isn’t on your fall must-have list already then it’s time to throw that sucker on it. I know I’m always talking about how “versatile” a piece is… but that’s because it’s so important to me. I like to re-mix and re-wear my closet, and a suede skirt is something I know I’ll be able to wear over and over again.
