Happy Friday Jr. everyone! My middle school self is doing a happy dance right now, because that little girl’s favorite piece of clothing is back! More and more brands are taking a cue from street style and offering up new and unexpected versions of the hoodie.

If you read my last post, then you know my feelings about festival fashion. While I love all the Coachella outfits, I also feel like it can get a bit “costumey” at times. So, I decided to create a music festival-friendly look that you can create using pieces you may already have in your closet and that you can wear IRL as well.

How can you pull off a mixed prints look? It’s actually really easy. Plus, it’s an outfit that you can probably create by just taking a peek in your closet (three cheers for saving money!) However, there are a few simple tricks on how to tackle the trend. Here are my suggestions..
Confession: My name is Lindsey, and I have an addiction to jackets. ALL kinds of jackets. Leather, suede, bomber, puffer… I welcome them all into my closet with open arms. I’m particularly loving jackets that include fringe details on the back and arms. And apparently a lot of other people do to, because right before this post went live this leather fringe jacket sold out! But I wouldn’t leave you hanging. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this utility vest is one of my favorite pieces in my closet because it’s so incredibly versatile. I’ve styled it so many different ways… but today I chose to wear it buttoned up and cinched in at the waist.
