PALM SPRINGS STYLE & THE “MIRAGE” HOUSE

Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to share one of my outfits that I wore (twice) during our visit to Palm Springs this past weekend. While my normal style is very edgy/feminine/boho, I felt like being extra girly for this trip. The “Mirage”

We took these photos on the last day of our trip. One of the things on my checklist was to see the Mirage house by artist Doug Aitken. It’s located in Desert X, and really is something you should check out next time you’re out in Palm Springs.

The house of mirrors is meant to be admired at any time. During the day, it mirrors it’s desert surroundings. At night, it reflects the light of the starry sky. Honestly, you can view it at any time of the day or night and it will still look absolutely incredible. It’s like a life sized kaleidoscope!

The Outfit

I ended up wearing this dress two times during our trip because I loved it so much. It’s sold out on the h&m website, but I’ve found some other amazing blue and white dress options and linked them below. Because… really… can you ever have too many summer dresses?!
