Going to the pumpkin patch has always been one of my favorite traditions. This year was exceptionally special because we got to take little Ollie too!
Halloween (and October in general) is my absolute favorite time of the year. Ever since I was little I’ve been going to the local farm and picking out my own pumpkin. A few days before Halloween we would carve our jack-o-lanterns and order pizza. It’s a tradition I’m so excited to carry on with our little family. I guess you could say I’ve been looking forward to taking my own little baby to the pumpkin patch since I was a little girl. This year my dream came true and it was PERFECT.
We took Ollie to Halloween Town here in Las Vegas and he loved it! He was a little sleepy at first, and grabbed onto me like a little koala bear (we call him our Ko-Ollie Bear). But, after a few “airplanes” he woke right up and was looking at all the games and people walking around. He’s a people watcher!
I love these little family outings, and definitely want to plan more. There’s something about experiencing things as a family of three, and it’s so much fun to watch it all through Ollie’s eyes. I loved this little guy so much even before he was born. And I don’t know how it’s possible, but I seem to love him more and more every day.
As for what we wore… I’m wearing an old h&m long sleeve shirt underneath a pair of overalls by Wrangler. I’m a huge fan of overalls, and wear them all year round. (Shop more overalls here). I also wore my Steve Madden cowboy boots, which are sold out online, but you can shop more western boots here. Sunglasses are Randolph Engineering.
Ollie is wearing a cute little bear hooded sweater from GAP (multiple colors available!) and fleece lined khakis. Also, his feet are finally big enough to fit into baby shoes! He’s been wearing these navy boat shoes everywhere. He also kicks them off about 100 times a day, but I don’t care they’re adorable!
Love, Lindsey
