If you’re looking to try on some new designers… I definitely recommend Zimmerman (beautiful whimsical dresses), R13 (perfect edgy pieces), and Asics (love these shoes paired with pantsuits and dresses). MY SHOPBOP SALE PICKS
While there are plenty of options to choose from, for this post I wanted to pick pieces that were on-trend for the fall/winter. For some of these I’m also including some style tips so you can better understand how to style them. These are just suggestions though… style them however you want!
A RE-BOOT
Boots can totally make an outfit. This season, western style and mid-calf boots are definitely where it’s at. You can wear them so many different ways, but my favorite is with a midi skirt or mini dress. For a cool new style, tuck your loose trousers in them and pair with a slouchy sweater. It’s such a cool look!!!
MODEST DRESSES
Perfect for the working woman or the mama on the go. No one has time to readjust low necklines or high hems. These “new” modern dresses look chic, not frumpy. To style them for fall, pair them with a cool jacket, coat, and a pair of mid-calf or western boots. A cool belt doesn’t hurt either!
BLAZER UPGRADE
Black, white and navy are wardrobe must-haves, but why not switch things up this season with a cool blazer upgrade? Try a cool printed version, or a blazer in a different color. I love rust for fall (actually, I love rust for every season). The best thing about blazers is they’re so easy to pull off. Pair them with a pair of jeans and a tee for casual cool look, or over a midi dress with kitten heels for the office. I also love to belt them or layer them over/under other outerwear.
90’S DENIM
Yes, the 90’s are still having a major moment, and it’s proving to be the biggest denim trend of the fall. But, don’t think 90’s denim has to be all grungy. There are plenty of tailored high-waist styles and flare options that I’m sure you’ll love!
SNAKE PRINT BAGS
A little texture goes a LONG way. Snakeskin is having a major moment, and not just in clothing, but accessories as well. A snakeskin bag is the perfect addition to make your outfit stand out. Plus, you can NEVER have too many bags.
UN-BORING SWEATERS
Give your jeans and sneaks outfit a little punch with a sweater that’s anything but boring. I love animal print because it basically acts as a neutral. Want something a little more funky? Try a graphic sweater with a little color!
EAR-CANDY
I have a theory that statement making earrings save you time while getting ready. Why? Because it shortens the time spent on your hair. A slicked back pony or low bun is the perfect way to show off your ear-candy. Better yet, slick your hair back with a hair mask and don’t put any heat on it. Cool style AND hair health? Yes please!
