Another year has flown by, and as I prepare for what the new year brings I’m also taking a look back at some of my favorite outfits from 2017…
I love how I can war this dress alone in the summer or layered with a trumpet sleeve top and over the knee boots for when the weather dips a little.
Jeans and a white top reimagined. The long button up looks great over skinny jeans and a pair of mules, plus it’s the perfect outfit for running errands.
I got really into matching sets this past year, but this floral suit from asos has to be my favorite. I paired it with a light blue structured back and pink scrappy stilettos for a work appropriate springtime look.
Probably one of my favorite outfits of the year. The jacket is actually a DIY and has a giant Tiger patch on the back. See how I made it here.
I created this look when Coachella was going on. I call it the no-chella outfit because it’s less ‘costumey” and more appropriate for real life.
Overalls & Off The Shoulder Top
I LOVE me some overalls. Paired with an off the shoulder top, the closet staple looks updated and on trend.
Again with the suits. I liked the idea of pairing this white suit with a pair of platform oxfords rather than the normal heel. It gave it a little edge, but is still very work appropriate.
The cropped jean had a major moment in 2017, and I hop the trend sticks around! I paired mine with a simple striped tee, lace up chunky heeled sandals and a red bandana.
Mara Hoffman Pieces for Summer
How fun are these pants! They’re perfect for summer, and lightweight so I don’t melt in the Vegas heat. Also, these shoes have red hearts on them!
This is actually a two-piece outfit. I love the blue and white strips (my favorite color combo for summer). Paired with some gladiator sandals I’m ready for a trip to Greece.
Maxi dresses have become one of my go-to outfit options. To dress this polka-dot dress down, I paired it with a simple white tee and sneakers.
The Conversation Starter T-Rex Graphic Sweatshirt
Rawr! How fun is this sweatshirt? It’s one of my favorite statement pieces that I own. Another great statement piece? These gold metallic block heel booties from Public Desire. They’re only $60!
Different Ways to Rock the Gingham Trend
Wearing five of my favorite pieces here. Sock booties, baker boy hat, gingham skirt, Girl Power tee, and my favorite Ray-Ban sunglasses. Click the link above the photo to shop my look 🙂
Golden Hour in Golden Girlfriend Jeans
I love these gold pants, but wanted to dress them down a bit. So, I paired them with a Free People slouchy sweater, sock booties and a baker boy hat.
Styling Who What Wear for Target
Who What Wear’s line for Target is amazing! I always end up buying multiple pieces overtime I stop by. These pants and bomber jacket are both from their fall collection.
Ways to Wear these Luxe Gold Pants
Again with the gold pants 🙂 I dressed this pair down with some Vans sneakers, an army green bomber jacket, bucket bag and my Fight Like A Girl “Angela” t-shirt.
Sweater Dresses for Every Budget
This dress definitely came in handy when I was hiding my pregnancy. It isn’t too snug, but isn’t hanging off me either. This photo was taken the weekend we told my family we were expecting. It was such a happy trip 🙂
I actually found this skirt at a thrift store in Vegas a few years back, and I continue to wear it every fall/winter. You may also notice the Free People sweater, which I’ve worn on repeat a lot lately.
Pops of Red & When it’s OK to Splurge
And to finish off the year in review outfit roundup, a holiday appropriate outfit. I love these leggings from Zara because they’re stiff and fit in all the right places. Kind of like Spanx for pants!
I hope you all enjoyed this outfit roundup from 2017! Is there anything you’d like to see more of in the new year? More beauty? More hair? More videos? Let me know in the comment section. I’d love to hear from you!
Love, Lindsey
