Nicole Miller Celebrates 10 years with JCPenney
Nicole Miller is celebrating 10 years of collaboration lines with JCPenney by launching (in my own personal opinion) her best Nicole by Nicole Miller collection ever! Here are a few of my favorite pieces. Available September 4th. I want to let you know I have not in any way or form been paid for this… I’m just excited! If you order online now you can score some great discounts…
1. Black Skirt and Top with feather embellishment (On sale for $40 each): Why would you wear a boring LBD when you can wear this?!
2. Faux Leather Bomber (On sale for $60): I love a good faux-leather jacket. The faux-fur trim adds a little something extra – and I LIKE it!
3. Studded Black Purse (On sale for $51): I think I’ll forever love everything studded. Considering I wore my last one until basically all the studs broke off (R,.I.P.) this one would be a good addition to my closet.
4. Gold and Black Bracelet (On sale for $13): Bracelets are my favorite piece of jewelry and this one is just edgy enough.
5. Leopard Coat (On sale for $70): I’ve been wanting a leopard print coat for awhile. I need to try it on to see how it fits, but I’m already imaging outfits to wear it with.
6. Sweater/ Skirt Outfit (On sale for $25 and $30): Comfortable and cute! I would let the sweater bunch up a bit so it hits at the waist.
Pucker Up
The ole’ picture in front of the garage pic. Ha! It was about to rain this day so we didn’t want to go
far. (That’s my excuse for this lazy picture and I’m stickin’ to it!) I found this top at Nordstrom Rack for a steal – and when I went back, I found the matching skirt to go with it! (That post coming soon).
When I wore this, Mike and I went out to play a little video poker, or as his momma calls it, “the five finger piano”. It was a low-key night but a blast because we both WON! That’ll help replenish our empty bank accounts from the wedding. NOICE!
Also, I have to share this… I read on some fashion website that skinny jeans were out?! Ok… they may not be as cool as high waisted flares or destroyed boyfriend denim, but let’s be real. They’re super easy and everyone is still wearing them! I should also let you know I read that article a week ago. and I’m still thinking about it.
Anyways… hope you all have a great weekend! We’ve got a busy one ahead of us, but I’m sure we’ll be able to slip in some time for new outfit photos. ; )

Wednesday Wish List
I’ve been saving up for the wedding for so long that I’m feeling this urge to just buy everything in sight! Isn’t the first step admitting that I have a problem? But I’m stickin’ to my guns dangit!
Instead, I’ll just peruse the entire internet and continue to “faux shop” filling up online bags with hundreds of dollars worth of clothes, accessories and anything else that catches my eye.
P.S. Seriously – those Isabel Marant sandals?! I’ve already looked for a knock-off version to no avail. I may have to do a DIY project to make my own. If so – I’ll definitely do a post on it!
Tattered and Torn
The “Lip-Biter”
I’m so (baby) blue…
1. Reasonable shoes: Something you can walk in and easily slip off.
2. Soft Skirt: You want to be able to run around in it without have to worry about keeping your legs crossed. Sooo annoying! 🙂
3. Crop top: You can wear them with skirts, high waisted pants, high waisted shorts – very versatile.
4. A good pair of sunnies: I have this innate ability to constantly be driving directly into the sun. It’s a gift…. or just bad timing.
5. Envelope clutch: Big enough to fit your necessities, small enough to bring with you anywhere.
6. Headphones: While I’ve been using my Sony headphones lately, I’m dreaming of one day getting these Beats By Dre.
7. Furry Phone Friend: I just got an iPhone case last month and I’m already over it. This panda one is so cute right?
Six Spring Sandals
I’ve included some of the sandals I have on my shopping wish list this season. I really love ankle strap and gladiator sandals right now. The look is beautiful and the ankle strap makes them stay on your feetsies.
Also, I’m DYING for a pair of Birkenstock sandals. I’ve wanted them for over a year now and just never committed. That will be changing here shortly!
