I’m so excited to finally announce this! After months of guessing, we finally got the big news… WE’RE HAVING A BOY! We found out last week, but wanted to keep it between family and close friends for just a little while.

If you saw my previous pregnancy post, then you’re probably aware of the family situation going on right now and that I’ve been in Pittsburgh since the beginning of the year. After having to cancel one doctor’s appointment already, Mike and I decided that the ultrasound was something we didn’t want to postpone. So, I hopped on a flight to Vegas, found out the gender, and flew back to the Burgh. It’s been a whirlwind of a year, but I’m grateful for these little moments of joy.

 

Also, Mike and I have had so much fun documenting this entire process. I have a little journal with pockets so I can write things like my cravings and what I’m looking forward to. It’s also a place for me to keep things like sonograms and our pregnancy announcement card. We’ve also been recording as much as possible whenever we’re together. Some of these videos we’ll probably keep for ourselves, but this one was too much fun not to share.
