My new favorite room in the house…
Every room I decorate turns into my “new favorite room”. Anyone else feel that way?
I recently tackled this bonus room in the house and wanted to keep things very clean and simple. We’ve been in our house for just over a year and I’ve been decorating each room in neutral tones for a few reasons.
- I find neutrals to be very peaceful and calming.
- I get bored easily and this allows me to easily move pieces (furniture, decor, artwork) around the house and make spaces look new and different without spending a fortune.
We went back and forth as to what we would make this bonus room. In the end, we decided that we needed an office where I could work from home in peace, but also wanted an extra sleeping space for guests.
We already had the furniture, but the room needed some art to pull it all together. I was searching the Desenio website and just started favoriting some pieces I liked. If you don’t know exactly what kind of art you’re looking for I recommend doing this because a theme will probably show itself. I realized I saved a bunch of line art, and fell in love with these two prints. Beige, white and black… just how I like it!
I LOVE how they look over this guest bed. We went for only two pieces, but they’re gallery walls are absolutely beautiful. Having done a gallery wall before, I know how difficult it can be to find pieces that all go together – so their gallery walls inspiration page is so helpful and I definitely recommend you check it out!
I’m such a fan of this new art I asked Desenio if they could provide a discount code for you all. If you use the code LINDSEYGURK at checkout you’ll receive 25% off prints (does not apply to frames or handpicked/personalized prints) from now until December 17th. What a great gift idea too!
Love, Lindsey
Thank you Desenio for sponsoring this post!

The room looks beautiful. Can you tell me if you got the pictures framed by Desenio or had the postered framed your self as I like the width of the boarder. If you did it your self can you tell me the poster size you ordered and the size of your black frame. Thank you.
I love how this turned out! We recently renovated the lower level of our home and we put in two new rooms. We finally finished all the demo so we don’t need our dumpster rental anymore finally, yay! Now we can focus on the decor, we are wanting it to look something like this, love the art.
