7 MUST-TRY BEAUTY TOOLS

All the facial, hair and body tools from top luxury brands all in one place. This “Beauty Tool Room” is located inside Neiman Marcus at Fashion Show Las Vegas, and it’s pretty incredible. Let’s check it out…

First of all, I’m a big proponent of at-home tools when it comes to skincare. For busy ladies (and guys) it just makes sense. We can’t always pop in for a facial or get zits zapped by a dermatologist. In my opinion, the tools are worth the extra money in the end because it saves you time, and you can give yourself as many treatments as needed. In the grand scheme of things, it not only saves you time, but money as well.

When I went to check out the Beauty Tool Room (not the official name, it’s just what my girlfriends and I call it) I was like a kid in a candy shop. Some of these products I didn’t even know existed, but after doing some research and reading reviews online I realized that people swear by a lot of them and they offer great results. Here’s what caught my eye in particular…

GLOPRO PACK N’ GLO ESSENTIALS SET

There is an entire section of a wall dedicated to GloPRO products, but the Pack N’ Glo Essentials Set was what really caught my attention. It includes GloPRO® Microneedling Regeneration Tool, EYE, FACE and BODY MicroTip™ Attachment Heads, Pack N’ Glo Storage Organizer and Skin Prep Pads. All of these things are designed to smooth your complexion while increasing absorption of all your products. The claim is that the results are almost instant, and that you’re skin will be visibly firmer, softer and refined. They also have clinical studies to back that claim up.

In a consumer study, they had subjects use GloPRO three times per week for 30 days… the results were that 97% reported an improvement in their skin’s firms and 93% saw an improvement in the evenness of their skin tone. Also, 90% would consider GoPRO as an alternative for cosmetic fillers!

I’ve used at-home micro needling myself, and I can totally vouch for the results. It’s especially good if you’re not into injections/fillers or are pregnant and can’t receive those types of treatments.

GLOPRO ROSE QUARTZ ROLLER

I also wanted to talk about the GloPRO Roller (for face, eyes and body) really quickly.

When these first came out I thought it was a scam (just being honest). But, I thought I’d try one out so I could share my honest opinion with you all. I was fully expecting to write a post about it being a joke. I’ll admit it. I was wrong. It works.

After adding it to my skincare regimen every night for a week I noticed that my skin just looked BETTER. I felt like my skin’s texture was so much smoother and my makeup went on like BUTTAH. I was a little addicted and would be rolling while watching TV (cuz it also just feels really good and calming). Tip: Always roll UP.

AQUIS MAKEUP BRUSHES

The brushes that top beauty bloggers SWEAR by! Artis brushes are really compact with a specially engineered fiber that is specifically designed for applying a variety of makeup products.

The one specific brush that’s gained a cult-following is the”Oval 7″ because it’s a multi-tasker. It’s designed to be used with liquid, cream or powder products like foundation, concealer, highlighter, blush, bronzer, powder (loose or pressed) and also skincare products.

CONTURE SKIN TONING DEVICE

Full disclosure, I haven’t tried this product out, but spent a lot of time reading reviews and researching what it does. The Conture Skin Toning Device is made to restore radiance and firmness to three main areas: décolleté, eye area, forehead (my biggest problem area!) and everything in between. You can use it twice daily (morning and night) to get the full benefits.

In an 8-week clinical study, women using Conture twice daily reported these results: 90% reported improved radiance and luminosity. 84% reported smoothness and evenness. And 78% reported improvement in fine lines and wrinkles.

AQUIS HAIR TOWEL

OK friends, this is my jam! I’ve been using the Aquise hair towel for two years now, and I even pack it with me when I travel. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Here’s why…

When I went platinum I wasn’t taking good care of my hair, and it broke off like crazy. I basically had a mullet. Not a good look. I basically couldn’t put heat on my hair, which isn’t really an option considering I’m on air and also have to take pictures for the blog. This hair towel helps because it reduces hair drying time by 50 percent. This is a facial cleansing brush that claims to refine, brighten, and even out your complexion. As someone who wears a lot of makeup, the biggest reason I get breakouts (outside of hormones) is because there is leftover makeup after I “think” I washed it all off. This helps with that.

It’s designed to remove impurities, oil and dead skin cells – lifting away 99.5% of dirt and oil plus makeup residue. It also diminishes the appearance of pores and improves the absorption of your favorite skincare products. It’s also 35 times more hygienic than standard cleansing brushes because the silicone is quid-drying and nonporous to prevent bacteria build up.

Clear skin? I’m in.
