5 REASONS YOU’LL WANT TO TRY OLAY REGENERIST WHIP FRAGRANCE-FREE

I’m a skincare NUT and have been since my early twenties. I started using Olay skincare products at age 22 and have always had SOMETHING Olay in my beauty arsenal since then. Here is why I keep coming back to this brand again and again, and why I’m getting behind their new Olay Regenerist Whip now fragrance-free.

MY SKINCARE BACKSTORY

I feel like in order for you to fully understand WHY I like this product you need to understand my skin backstory…

Growing up, I had a pretty good complexion. I didn’t wear foundation that much and washed my face every night before bed. However, as I got older I started to notice more little red dots on my face and some discoloration. The more makeup I wore, the more my skin retaliated with breakouts (and eventually fine lines. yuck). In my line of career, I HAVE to wear a lot of makeup… and often. I feel like it’s lead to pre-mature aging because I have to scrub my face to get all the makeup off and my pores get clogged when I’m wearing my heavy products.

When I started wearing more makeup, I started paying more attention to how I cared for my skin. At about 22 years old I bought my first Olay skin cream and I have never looked back. I always love trying new products. As a beauty blogger, that’s part of the gig. I love to give you all honest reviews of the products I try, and Olay is one brand that I keep coming back to because IT WORKS.

SKIN CHANGES AFTER BABY

After Ollie was born in June my skin went into a frenzy. I wasn’t wearing any makeup and I washed my face consistently. The postpartum acne was still there. I chalked it up to hormones, but also started paying closer attention to what I was putting on my skin. I stopped trying random skincare products and went back to basics. Olay Regenerist included. My skin started to clear up and my forehead wrinkles were getting less and less noticeable.

WHY I’M ALL IN WITH OLAY WHIPS

I have super sensitive skin, and fragrances in my skincare products can sometimes break me out. So, when Olay reached out to me to try their new Regenerist Whip fragrance-free I was all in!

I’ve been using it for about a month now, and I’m already seeing a difference in my skin. Living in the desert, I need a GREAT moisturizer to diminish the appearance of wrinkles and make my skin look fresh.

WHY I THINK YOU’LL LOVE IT TOO

  1. Hydrating, but not heavy: I can’t tell you how many times I’ve put on a cream and felt like I just slathered cake icing all over my face. I can’t stand that feeling! The whips line is just thick enough that you know it’s working without causing a big gross mark on your pillow.
  2. Budget friendly, but holds up to the expensive creams: Like I said before, I get to try out a lot of skincare products. Some are very expensive, and honestly don’t work that great (those are the ones I DON’T post about.) Olay Regenerist Whip fragrance-free definitely holds up to these expensive creams, and at a fraction of the cost
  3. Evens out skin tone & improves elasticity: My biggest battle is making sure my skin tone is even and firm. This product actively hydrates to improve elasticity and firm skin for a lifted look. I’m not sure if evening out your skin tone is part of the benefits they promise, but it definitely did the trick for me!
  4. Helps your pores: As someone who wears a lot of makeup, I can’t have my pores clogged. It creates more breakouts and leads to uneven skin. I put my Olay cream on before my makeup and it actually goes on smoother and doesn’t end up greasy by the end of the day. Living in the desert, I need a skin cream that moisturizes, but doesn’t make my skin look greasy. Check and Check!

Hopefully this post has been a little helpful to you (especially you new mommas who are dealing with weird skin breakouts! Been there.) You can purchase Olay Whips products at Walgreens – and make sure to let me know how you like it! I think you’ll be happy.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Olay. The opinions and text are all mine.

Love, Lindsey
