GOLDEN HOUR IN GOLDEN GIRLFRIEND JEANS

Shout out to all my denim girls out there! If you’re looking for an outfit update, I highly recommend getting you a pair of gold jeans. Today I’m sharing how I styled them, plus I’m offering up multiple other outfit fashion formulas and the perfect color combos.

WHY YOU’LL LOVE GOLD JEANS

Metallic jeans aren’t just for the fashion brave. They’re a great alternative to your usual denim, but with a little added flare. Instead of reaching for the same old same old, swap out your favorite skinnies for a pair of gold-coated jeans to add some glamour to any look.

HOW I STYLED THEM

My personal style isn’t very flashy. I’m not into bling and I shy away from sequins (most of the time as witnessed here and here). However, gold jeans are a different story. They’re the perfect mixture of free-spirit and fancy fresh.

I chose to pair mine with a pair of sock booties and a slouchy beige sweater by Free People. To add a little edge I added my favorite military style hat.

I’ve also been breaking out my Coach Dinky Bag a lot lately. It comes in multiple colors, but I’m partial to the burgundy because it’s the perfect fall color.

COLOR MATCH-UPS

Based on the above outfit formulas, it’s pretty obvious I love to stick to neutrals. I love gold jeans with cream, gray, black, white and Burgundy. However, there are definitely ways to add color into your outfit as well. Gold and emerald look beautiful together. I also like how navy looks up against the shine. You could also wear a red sweater with them if you’re looking for a festive holiday look. If you’re really looking to make a statement, I think a bright pink crew neck sweater would look fabulous!
